The water supply and sewerage services in Chisinau will grow more expensive for household consumers. The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) partially accepted the request of “Apă-Canal Chișinău” to increase the charges. The relevant draft decision is to be approved at the Agency’s next meeting, IPN reports.
The proposed charge for household consumers is 12.99 lei/m³, up 2.2 lei from the current charge. The NAER partially accepted the request of "Apă-Canal Chișinău”, which asked for a charge of 14.46 lei/m³.
The sewerage charge will rise from 4.18 to 5.63 lei/m³.
The last time the water supply and sewerage charges in Chisinau were adjusted in January 2023.
