The mural painting “Olympic Dream”, which is intended for the Moldovan athletes who contended in the Paris Olympic Games and which was previously destroyed, is in the process of being restored. At the meeting of officials of municipal services, mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban said that the restoration works have already begun, but did not specify how long they will last, noting that the painting will be ready in the immediate period, IPN reports.

The Centru district head’s office will cover the costs associated with the restoration of the mural painting. The institution published images showing that the billboard was removed. A sketch is being drawn on top of the painting that was previously damaged.
