The mayoralty will seek for possibilities to build ta road connecting Humulesti and Bubuieci villages, in order to provide Humulesti inhabitants with public transport. The interim mayor of Chisinau municipality, Vasile Ursu, announced, on Monday July 10, at the working meeting, that there are 240 families and children in Humulesti who lack public transport to Bubuieci, and are forced to go to school in the village Mereni of the district Anenii Noi. Ursu mentioned that, although if the last year the Government required the municipality to identify possibilities to build a road, the local budget could not cover this project. The interim mayor hopes to get co-financing in order to implement this project from the state budget, as well as from the Brick Plant „Macon”, which, he says, uses this road at „about 90% degree”. The interim expenses needed for its building are estimated at about 13 million lei.
