Multidisciplinary Training Center for State Guard officers inaugurated

Prime Minister Dorin Recean congratulated the employees of the State Guard and Protection Service on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the founding of the Service. During the event, the "Mihai Eminescu" Multidisciplinary Training Center was inaugurated, IPN reports.

The new center, intended for the theoretical training of officers, was opened with the assistance of Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination TIKA.

Premier Recean stressed that the Government will continue to make investments in order to adapt to the new security challenges. He noted the dedication of the Service’s employees and the institution's successes: "At the European Political Community Summit, you showed that you can perfectly ensure safety and security at an international event."

During the anniversary event, a number of State Guard officers received the diploma of honor of the Government of the Republic of Moldova in gratitude for ensuring the protection of state officials and also on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the founding of the Service.
