Head of Parliament Igor Corman signed an order providing that the lawmakers will be on leave between January 2 and 10 inclusively. The MPs will resume work in the legislature’s bodies on January 13, IPN reports.

Under the legislation, the lawmakers have paid annual leave of 36 workdays, with a working week being considered to have six days. The leave is usually granted during the winter or summer vacation.

The autumn session of Parliament started on September 26 and ended on December 24.
