At Thursday’s sitting, the MPs observed a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the war that has been waged by the Russian Federation on Ukraine. The proposal was formulated in connection with yesterday’s Russian missile attack on Odessa region, which killed four people, including a child, IPN reports.
“In the neighbouring country, children die every day. Yesterday, at around six o’clock in the evening, four people died in Odessa region, including a 10-year-old girl, as a result of a Russian missile attack. I ask to observe a moment of silence for all those who died as a result of the barbaric Russian aggression,” said Deputy Speaker of Parliamenr Doina Gherman.
A Russian missile strike killed four people in Ukraine’s southern Odessa region on Wednesday. One of the injured is in a serious condition following leg amputation. International media reports say that this is the second attack on Odessa in the past 24 hours. On the night of Wednesday, Russia attacked the region with drones and missiles, striking critical transport and logistics infrastructure.
