A 26-year-old man lost his life in a traffic accident at the entrance to Sangera village of Chisinau municipality in the morning of October 28. The young motorcyclist crashed violently his motorcycle into a vehicle.

Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati has told IPN that the motorcyclist was heading to Sangera from Chisinau. At the entrance to the village, the motorcycle collided with a Mercedes car driven by a man aged 35, which was leaving the settlement. Owing to the serious injuries he sustained, the motorcyclist died on the spot.

The accident happened at about 9am. The police are investigating the circumstances to determine which of the drivers didn’t obey the traffic rules and if these were speeding.
