More years should pass for the current government to become the elite, sociologist Andrei Dumbrăveanu stated in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel. According to him, the representatives of the power will yet become the elite even if the current government has what to be criticized for and is justly criticized, IPN reports.
According to the sociologist, the Republic of Moldova does not yet have political elite as there is no interest in having his and no political state because the land beneath the feet of politicians is not homeland, but is the land of business, of goods making and distribution. “This is the goal pursued by our political elites,” stated Dumbrăveanu, noting these elites do not realize that they are passing.
The sociologist also said that the Republic of Moldova hasn’t had ruling elites since 1990. There are now only elites by sectors. “27 years is not a period during which one can build elites. The elite are being formed,” added Andrei Dumbrăveanu.
Historian Daniela Vacarciuc said that currently the people witness the promotion of persons who can manipulate, have a destructive rhetoric that is dangerous. “This danger is probably seen also by those who continue to leave the Republic of Moldova, from among the rich ones too, not only from among the poor ones, because they do not have confidence in the future of the Republic of Moldova. This is the biggest problem faced by the elite that should give an encouragement,” she stated.
According to Daniela Vacarciuc, the people should follow the example of valued personalities and be guided by truth, but it is hard to eliminate confusion. Only the person devoted to the masses will be really supported.
