Moldova’s Railways decided to increase the number of railcars on the international train routes for the period of the winter holidays. The trains running to Moscow, St Petersburg and Bucharest have twice or even thrice more cars now.
“Since December 13, we added the highest number of railcars possible in accordance with the international legislation. Earlier the trains had by ten cars, but now have by 38 cars,” the director of Moldova’s Railways Iurie Topala stated for IPN.
The administration of Moldova’s Railways said the tickets are purchased beforehand, most of which to Moldova. Ticket prices remained unchanged.
