Moldova’s U18 women’s basketball team finished second from the bottom in Division B of the European Championship. The Tricolors managed a single win and eight defeats, IPN reports.
Competing for the 23rd place, the girls coached by Natalia Paciu Dolgan got a technical victory against Denmark, who were absent from the tournament. In the previous games, Moldova was beaten by Slovakia, Great Britain, Ireland, Ukraine, Macedonia, Georgia and Albania.
The championship in Dublin was won by the Germans, who defeated Ireland in the final with a score of 67 to 43.
