Moldova’s representative at Eurovision Eduard Romanyuta said it is an honor for him to open the first semifinal of the contest and hopes that he will return from Austria’s Vienna with the first place. The artist does not yet have a video clip for the song “I want your love”, but made a video for the promotion tour by compiling a number of video clips of his, IPN reports.

In the first semifinal, Eduard Romanyuta will compete against artists from 15 states. He told a news conference that the promotion tour will include such states as Georgia, the UK and the Netherlands and all the expenses, including for the team’s travel to Vienna, will be covered by himself, with no money taken from the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio Moldova”, which organized the national stage of the contest and will broadcast live the international stage at Moldova 1, Radio Moldova Muzical and online on www.trm.md.

Currently, Eduard Romanyuta is preparing the show and stage infrastructure. He revealed only that a mini-stage will be present on the stage, refusing to say something about the costume and other details.

Vienna will host the 60 Eurovision Song Contest. The semifinals will take place on May 19 and 21, while the final - on May 23.
