The Moldovan footballers held the lead from the very beginning. The first goal for Moldova was scored by Eugen Sidorenco in the 30th minute. In the 38th minute, Klod Kum Maka of Kyrgyzstan was eliminated for the second yellow card. However, the guests managed to draw at the start of the second half through Vadim Kharchenko. The second goal for Moldova was scored by the same Sidorenco, who also scored in a match of the 2014 World Championship qualifiers against Poland a week ago.

Andrian Negai, Ion Jardan, Veaceslav Posmac, Oleg Clonin, and Maxim Antoniuc played the first match as part of the national team.

“It was a successful match for us. I don’t remember having so many clear occasions for scoring. Even if didn’t use them all, we managed to win. It was a useful test and some of the debutants made a good impression,” Moldova coach Ion Caras said in a news conference after the game.

“The elimination in the first half upset all our plants. The referee could have treated that phase in a different way. I must yet admit that Moldova is better than us form the viewpoint of value and their victory is not surprising. Victories without defeats cannot be scored,” said Kyrgyzstan coach Sergey Dvoryankov.

The next friendly will be played by Moldova in the middle of August. The opponent is not yet known.
