Moldova's European integration priorities for 2009 to be put on paper by Jan. 20
The Agenda of European integration priorities for 2009 must be drafted by January 20, ordered President Vladimir Voronin while charing the meeting of the National Commission for European Integration on Wednesday, December 3, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the presidential press service, Vladimir Voronin also instructed the Interdepartmental Coordination Group to prepare, with the assistance of the secretary of the National Commission for European Integration, the final report of the 2008 Agenda until January 15 and submit it to the members of the commission for approval.
The president reiterated the importance of monitoring not just the process of harmonizing the domestic legislation with the EU acquis, but also the implementation of the already adopted laws. He also urged faster action in order to have the commitments assumed under the 2008 Agenda translated into laws by the end of the fall/winter session of the Parliament.
