Moldovans settled in Bulgaria will be insured in old age
The social and economic interests and rights of the insured Moldovan citizens who settled in Bulgaria or carry out a temporary activity there will be protected in old age under an agreement signed by the two countries that will come into force on September 1 this year, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the Moldova Ministry of Social Protection, the agreement extends to persons that had been or are insured in accordance with the legislation of one of the two states - employees, independent workers, delegated workers, personnel of diplomatic missions and consular sections - and the members of their families.
The agreement stipulates the services provided in case of disease or maternity, accidents at work and occupational disease, the disability allowances (pensions and indemnities), old-age pension, successor’s pension, death benefit and unemployment benefit.
