The citizens of the Republic of Moldova will be obliged to further self-isolate for 14 days when they enter Romania. The neighboring state adopted a list of 17 states whose citizens are exempt from self-isolating when they come to Romania if they do not have symptoms of infection. Moldova is not on the list, IPN reports.
Romania’s Embassy in Moldova said the relaxation measures adopted by the National Committee for Emergencies took effect on June 15. The 17 states for which self-isolation was excluded are: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Hungary.
The list of states for which the quarantine measures are eliminated is updated weekly, each Monday.
In the case of states that are not on the list, only their citizens who enter Romania for medical activities are exempt from self-isolating.
