The draft agreement between the Republic of Moldova and Italy on the ensuring of the social rights of the citizens of both of the states was initialed in Rome. Under the agreement, there will be provided old-age, successor and disability from ordinary disease pensions and pensions and allowances for disability from work accidents and caused by professional diseases, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the pension could be transferred to the person on the territory of the state where this has the domicile or residence.

The provisions of the treaty will apply to persons who are or were socially insured in accordance with the legislation of both of the states or one of the states that are party to the agreement.
