Moldovans can enter Bulgaria on presentation of negative test for COVID-19

The Moldovan citizens can enter Bulgaria as of July 28 on condition that they present a negative test for COVID-19. The test results should be in English and the test should have been performed at most 72 hours before entering Bulgaria, Moldova’s Embassy in Sofia has said, being quoted by IPN.

Bulgaria banned entry to Moldovans, including its transiting, as of July 15, given the high number of infections with the novel coronavirus registered in Moldova. As an exception, the Bulgarian authorities allowed persons in difficult humanitarian situations to enter and cross Bulgaria.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration urges the persons who intend to start a journey to consult the travel advisories that are updated each Friday and are available on the Ministry’s official website and on its Facebook page.
