Moldovan youth encouraged to create Euroclubs
The Delegation of the European Union to Moldova has launched a call for interest for the youth all over Moldova in setting up Euroclubs. Winners will be selected based on essays on the theme “What an Euroclub means for my community”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The EU Delegation said in a press release that twenty-five successful contenders will be selected by a Committee which will include representatives of EU Delegation and leaders of various youth organizations. The finalists will benefit from training on establishing Euroclubs and developing activities for youth based on European values. The training will be held by foreign experts selected by the EU Delegation to Moldova, with experience in establishing Euroclubs and developing activities within organization goals.
Training participants who will generate the most interesting projects on establishing an Euroclub will receive further EU Delegation support.
The Euroclubs were first launched in Portugal in 1990 as youth associations based on the common values and interests of its members with the main goal to inform youth about the European Union, European values and standards.
