Moldovan Parliament to resume sitting
The next two weeks the Parliament will reconvene on Thursdays, June 7 and 14. A decision in this respect was taken on Tuesday, June 5, by the Standing Bureau of the legislature, which approved the draft schedule for this period.
The deputies will debate in first reading the draft law on conflict of interest, the draft law on granting one-time compensations to certain categories of rural population for line-up to gas main, the draft law on scientific-technological parks and innovation incubators, and the draft law on zoos.
The MPs will debate in the second reading the draft laws concerning the set up of the so-called megaregulator, which will regulate activities in the extrabank financial market. The draft laws on road traffic safety, on mediation, and on limited companies will be also examined in second reading.
In this period the lawmakers will also examine amendments to the 2007 State Budget Law.
The MPs disrupted their work for a period of two weeks because of the local general elections that took place on June 3.
