Moldovan MP will discuss in Brussels implementation of the RM-EU Action Plan

A parliamentary delegation led by speaker Marian Lupu will pay an official visit to the European Parliament (Brussels), during which they will meet European officials. According to a press release of the Parliament, the three day visit will have meetings with representatives of the main EP Committees, with several Commissars of the European Committee, with leaders of all the political formations from the EP, as well as the EP delegation of parliamentary cooperation with the Republic of Moldova, led by Mariane Mikko. The agenda also includes bilateral discussions of Marian Lupu with Josep Borrell Fontelles, president of the European Parliament. The main discussion topics will revolve around the progress of the Individual RM-EU Plan regarding parliamentary commitments, introduction of the new asymmetric commercial regime with the European Union, the possibility to apply facilities in the visa regime for citizens of the Republic of Moldova etc. The delegation is formed from Irina Vlah (PCRM), Serafim Urecheanu (AMN), Marcel Raducan (PDM) and Angela Leahu (PPCD).
