Moldovan Economy Days in Romania starts next week
From June 12 to 17, 2006, the Moldovan Economy Week will take place in Romania. The event is organized by the International Exhibition Center “Moldexpo”, under the auspices of the Moldovan Government.
According to a press release of “Moldexpo”, the goal of this event is to present the potential of Moldova on the Romanian market, strengthening bilateral relationships between Moldova and Romania and creating cooperation opportunities between the two states.
In this period, on the territory of the Exhibition Center “Romexpo” – Bucharest International Fair will take place the national exhibition “Moldova Presents” which will include the offer of 100 notorious enterprises from different national economic areas.
Among these enterprises about 10 most well-known wine producing companies will participate, offering the specialists and visitors the possibility to enjoy old divins (cognac-like beverages), quality mature collection, sweet, demi-sweet, sparkling wines etc. At the exhibition will participate also companies in food industry, inclusively J.S.C. “Bucuria”, “Franzeluta”, “Carmez”, “Basarabia-Nord”, “Natur Bravo” and other .
The segment of light industry will be presented by the ready-made and knitwear companies “Rada”, “Dana”, “Vasconi-Textil” Ltd, J.S.C. “Flautex”, J.S.C. “Fantezia”, “Eurotextil” Ltd and others. The industrial enterprises “Moldagrotehnica”, “Hidrotehnica” will come to Romania with equipment for different economic areas. Also enterprises that produce cosmetic goods, wrappers, tobacco goods will participate.
At the exhibition will also take place a Business Forum which includes several seminars, presentations, meetings and debates. Investment projects launched by the Republic of Moldova will be proposed to the Romanian entrepreneurs. Within the Forum will function the ”Contacts Market”, service which will stimulate bilateral meetings at different levels – decision-making authorities, scientists, economic agents of both countries.
The cultural program will include concerts, meetings of the artists, art varnishing. The last day will be dedicated to the Chisinau municipality and will be entitled the Celebration of the Capital.
According to the organizers, all these actions offer Moldova a exceptional chance to expand the partnership range through direct communication and stand samples of the products, contributing to the cooperation on all areas, implementation of social and cultural, scientific and educative programs, as well as the development of tourism area in both countries. As well, the Economy Week of the Republic of Moldova in Romania could offer market expand opportunities, agricultural-industrial, technical-scientific, investment cooperation between Moldova and Romania.
At the same time, from June 27 to July 1, 2006, the Romanian Economy Week will take place in Chisinau.
