Moldovan economic entities invited to take part in Moldova-Russia Forum
Moldovan economic entities are being invited to take part in the works of the Economic Forum “Moldova-Russia: Developing Partnership. New Opportunities”, to be held in Chisinau on February 6.
The organizer of the event, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Moldova has stated that the main objectives of the Forum are to create favourable conditions for the development of the trade and economic relations between Moldova and the Russian Federation, to discuss main cooperation issues, to strengthen cooperation relations among business communities.
The event includes a plenary meeting, the presentation of projects and national programmes of Moldova and Russia, the visit and the possibility of participating in the exhibition “Made in Moldova”, which will take place in the period February 5-10.
Organizers of the event intend to show the Russian business community the big potential of the investment cooperation between the two countries, to promote Moldovan products on the Russian market by using all forms of regional cooperation.
The Forum includes the signing of contracts, protocols of intentions, investment agreements between partners from Russia and Moldova.
Economic entities that are interested in this event have to submit until January 20 a letter of participation to the CCI.
The Russian Federation was the leading partner country of in the field of exports in the period January-November 2007. Moldovan goods worth 211.3 million USD were exported to Russia, a 25.5% increase compared to the similar period of the previous year.
At the same time, goods worth 434.9 million USD were imported from Russia over the same period, by 20.3% more than in the same period of the previous year.
