Moldovagaz and Energocom are willing to provide assistance, including technical and commercial one, to Tiraspoltransgaz in organizing the purchase of gas on any European platform, based on market conditions, in order to provide the people living on the left bank of the Nistru with energy resources in the current crisis situation, IPN reports, with reference to the information published by the two institutions.
Moldovagaz and Energocom confirmed the information and sent the necessary letters to the responsible institution located on the left bank of the Nistru.

On December 31, 2024, a purchase of gas for Moldovagaz JLC on the Balkan Gas Hub platform in Bulgaria was successfully made on a trial basis. The purchased quantity of 240 MWh was transported through the Trans-Balkan pipeline corridor via Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine, to the " Căușeni" interconnection point on the border of the Republic of Moldova.
