Moldova has won three medals at the Balkan Athletics Championships in Serbia, which brought together athletes from 20 Southeast European states. Zalina Margieva and Dimitriana Bezede got golds, while Sergey Marghiev won silver, IPN reports.
Zalina won in hammer throw with the result of 67.00 meters, while Dimitriana won in weight throw with the result of 17.94 meters. Sergey Marghiev scored 73.52 meters in hammer throw.
The Top 10 rankings also include Andeea Stavila (3 000 meters steeplechase and 1 500 meters), Anna Berghii (400 meters hurdles), Adrian Iordan (800 meters), Dumitru Mititelu (javelin throw), Vadim Doscalov (triple jump) and Cristian Eșanu (400 meters hurdles).
