The schedule of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration in August –September will be very tight given the preparations that will be made for the Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit of November. Moldova will be visited by a number of European officials during these two months, IPN reports.

Moldovan Foreign Affairs Minister Natalia Gherman told a news conference that three foreign ministers will come to Chisinau at the start of September – of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxemburg.

On October 4-5, Chisinau will host the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. For the first time this event will take place outside the EU’s borders.

Natalia Gherman said that Moldova will be also visited by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who accepted the invitation made by her. The exact date is not known, but the visit will be paid by this yearend.
