The Republic of Moldova for the first time will be represented in the Audit Committee of the International Organization of La Francophonie (IOF). The given duty will be fulfilled by the Court of Auditors, IPN reports.

The acceptance of the Court of Auditors for this post was influenced also by the positive results of the international and national assessments of the institution the last few years, the advanced skills in the field of audit and governance and the broad international experience of Moldova’s supreme audit institution, it is said in a press release.

In the immediate period, the Republic of Moldova will be the only country that will ensure European regional representation. The other three members on the Audit Committee represent Canada, Cameroon and Nigeria.
