Moldova switches to winter time

On the night of October 25, Moldova switches to winter time. The clocks will be set one hour back and 3am will become 2am. October 25 will be thus the longest day of the year, with 25 hours, IPN reports.

The switch to winter time takes place in almost 70 European states, by respecting the mean time zone difference. Given that the neighboring countries also switch from summer time to the time of Oriental Europe on October 25, transport between the border stations of Romania and Ukraine will travel according to the current time.

According to specialists, the change of hour can affect the biorhythm of some persons, causing discomfort and anxiety. Psychologists say the clock change is rather a psychological matter.
