The Republic of Moldova offers Ukraine humanitarian aid to support the population affected by the war. The batch consists of electrical substations, blood transfusion systems, disinfectant, architectural glass and food products. The draft decision to provide the aid was approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.
The Material Reserves Agency will release material goods worth about 5 million lei from the state and mobilization reserves to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. In order to ensure the swift delivery of the humanitarian aid, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive over 100,000 lei from the Government’s reserve fund to cover the transport expenses.
“The Republic of Moldova reaffirms its solidarity with Ukraine and is committed to providing support in these difficult times. The allocation of these resources will enable to transport the humanitarian aid to places where it is indispensable,” said the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
