The national football team of Moldova plays a friendly against the similar squad of Israel on June 6 in preparation for the June 11 encounter with Georgia, of the 2018 World Cup qualification rounds, IPN reports.

The match will be played in Netanya in northwestern Israel, on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Israel and Moldova have met five times so far. Three matches were won by Israel, while two ended in a draw.

In March, Moldova played three games, winning against San Marino and losing to Austria and Turkey.
