Moldova national women’s football team beaten by Poland

The national women’s football team of Moldova suffered the fourth consecutive defeat in the 2017 European Championship qualifying rounds. The squad trained by Alina Stetsenko was defeated by Poland 1-3, IPN reports.

Ludmila Andone scored the goal of honor in the last minute, this being the first success of Moldova in the current qualifying competition. Poland missed a penalty in the first half, but scored three goals in the second half.

On December 1, Moldova plays Slovakia in Orhei. A month ago, the two teams met in Senec, where Slovakia won a 4-0 victory. Sweden is the group leader with a maximum score after three matches played.
