The national football team of Moldova plays the third match of the UEFA Nations League in the evening of October 12. Moldova plays against San Marino in Chisinau, starting at 9:45pm, IPN reports.
Moldova has chances to score the first victory in an official match after five years. “It is hard to believe in victory after the Moldovan fans haven’t seen victories at home for a long period of time. All our thoughts are at the victory against San Marino,” goalkeeper Alexei Koshelev told a news conference.
“I hope we will have a spectacular game and will see goals. I’m firmly convinced we will have occasions. We should only be very attentive and concentrated on finalization ,” stated Moldova manager Alexandru Spiridon.
Spiridon said halfback Artur Ioniță didn’t train together with the team and he may not come to this evening’s match against San Marino. Moldova has one point after two matches played in the UEFA Nations League.
