Moldova calls upon the Russian Federation to accept the ceasefire and demonstrate a similar commitment to peace, said Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, IPN reports.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister welcomes the progress achieved in Jeddah by the U.S. and Ukraine delegations towards a just and lasting peace.

As a result of the negotiations between the delegations of Kiev and Washington in Jeddah on Tuesday, Ukraine agreed to a 30-day truce, at the proposal of the United States. According to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, "the ball is now in Russia's court."

The international press reported that U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his willingness to invite Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy to visit the White House again. He also said he planned to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week.
