The national beach soccer team of Moldova suffered a defeat in the first match of Division B of the 2017 Euro Beach Soccer League. Moldova was defeated by Hungary 3-8, IPN reports.

The goals for Moldova were scored by Sergiu Nicolaiciuc, Nicolae Ignat and Victor Iordachi. On September 15, Moldova meets England, while on September 16 it plays against Turkey. The final stage of the 2017 Euro Beach Soccer League Division B will take place in the Italian city Terracina.

Only the group winner qualifies for the next stage. Portugal, Ukraine, Belarus, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Italy, and Poland reached already Division A.
