Moldova and U.S. mark 20 years of diplomatic relations
The Republic of Moldova and the United States are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. A conference will take place in Chisinau on this occasion on March 30, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a press release from the U.S. Embassy
The conference entitled “U.S. – Moldova Relations: 20 Years of Partnership in the Name of Democracy” is organized by the U.S. Embassy, in partnership with the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Foreign Policy Association, and IDIS Viitorul. It will be held at the American Resource Center at 75 Alexei Mateevici St.
Ambassador William Moser, Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca, and North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall will open the conference. Other representatives from the American and Moldovan governments, business community, and civil society will also participate.
The conference is scheduled to start at 09.30.
