Moldova and Ukraine start installation of border signs in Palanca

Moldova and Ukraine started the installation of border signs near the Moldovan village of Palanca, under a decision adopted at the 41st session of the Moldo-Ukrainian Border Demarcation Commission, the Moldovan Border Guards Service said in a press release. The settlement of all the issues related to the demarcation of the border in this area will ensure the inalienable right of the residents of Palanca to use without any impediments the over 900 hectares of land situated on Moldovan soil on the other side of the Odessa-Reni roadway, says the press release. At the session, the Moldo-Ukrainian Border Demarcation Commission determined and approved the locations of the border signs that are to be installed near Palanca, under the terms of the 1999 Moldo-Ukrainian Border Treaty.
