Moldova Ambassador to Romania to hold concurrent accreditation to Serbia
The Government has approved on Wednesday, June 27, to appoint Lidia Gutu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Moldova to Romania, as concurrent Ambassador to Serbia, with the headquarters in Bucharest.
The proposal came from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the draft decree is to be submitted to Moldovan President for consideration.
Lidia Gutu was appointed as Moldovan Ambassador to Bucharest in March 2006. Previously she was an independent MP, after leaving with six other deputies, including Dumitru Braghis, the “Moldova Noastra” Alliance.
Lidia Gutu also served as Deputy Prime Minister for social issues, Deputy Minister of Finances, chair of the parliamentary Committee for Social Policies, Health and Family, as well head of the Loan and Project Financing Department at Unibank.
