CB ”Mobiasbanca – Groupe Société Générale” S.A. supported the Moldova’s team participation in the Special Olympics World Summer Games 2015, held in Los Angeles, California, from  July 25 to August 2.

Special Olympics Worlds Games is the largest sporting event for people with intellectual disabilities. The competition which is held every four years was attended by more than 7000 athletes from 177 countries all over the world. In 2015 the World Games took place for the 14th time. The composition of the Moldovan delegation included 19 members, 13 of which represented our country in football, swimming, table tennis and tennis.

Moldavian Special Olympics returned home with remarkable results, bringing six medals, four - gold and two - silver. Our athletes won futsal (indoor football) competitions and two gold medals on tennis and 50 meters freestyle swimming. Silver was brought in table tennis competition. They are our champions and those who have proudly raised the flag of the Republic of Moldova in these competitions. Their courage, determination and spirit of sportsmanship are examples to follow for us. Through their successes in various competitions they have promoted our country abroad.
