A 77-year-old man was pulled out of a chasm in Rezina district. Rescuers were alerted by neighbors who had not seen him at home for three days, IPN reports.

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said that as a result of searches, the man was found in a chasm near the village of Lalova, at a depth of about 30 meters. He was conscious.

Two rescue teams took the man out in less than half an hour. The doctors who arrived at the scene offered him with the necessary care. The man was later taken to the district hospital.
