A man aged 66 from Chisinau, who was reported missing by his relatives three days ago, was discovered dead in a sewerage well near the Municipal Hospital “Saint Trinity” in Rascani district.
Contacted by IPN, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the man suffered from mental disorders. No signs of violence were found on the body. But the cause of death will be found out as a result of the medical-legal examination.
The man lived in Centru district of Chisinau.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan said the body was taken out by rescuers who were called by the police. The operation was difficult as the well was small in diameter and the body was at a depth of 3 meters.
