A man who went missing at the end of January was found dead in a pond in Boghenii Noi commune, Ungheni rayon. According to preliminary information, the man is believed to have drowned, IPN reports.

According to law enforcement officials, the 36-year-old man disappeared on January 23 after visiting his parents in the village of Boghenii Noi, Ungheni district, where he was last seen.

Police and relatives searched for him for more than a month and his body was finally found on the surface of the pond.

Police are investigating all the circumstances of the case.
