Minibus crammed with cigarettes stopped by sniffer dog Mora

Over 8,000 cigarettes were discovered in a minibus heading to Germany. At the exit lane of the Costesti customs post, the driver of the minibus, a 50-year-old Moldovan, and the passengers in the vehicle said that they were transporting only personal belongings. However, in the apple crates placed in the cargo compartment, Mora, the customs posts’ sniffer dog, detected forbidden products, IPN reports.

Following the detailed examination of the means of transport and the goods in it, 363 packs of cigarettes of different brands and 40 packs of tobacco reserves were found.

The tobacco products were seized and are subject to confiscation, while the driver faces punishment.
