Milsami beat Zaria 1-0 in the last match of the 11th stage of the National Division. The only goal was scored by Mihai Platica in the 23rd minute, IPN reports.

As a result of this success, Milsami remains two points behind the leader Sheriff. “It is a very important victory for us. Today, we gave our opponents no chance. I do not look at the rankings. For us, any match is crucial,” Milsami coach Veaceslav Rusnac told a news conference.

Sheriff defeated Dacia 6-3 and remains the main contender for the title. In the 7th minute, the score was 2-0 owing to the goals scored by Brazilian footballer Jairo. Russian player Olisaev reduced the difference in the 9th minute, but Jairo shortly scored again. In only one minute, Josip Brezovec scored his first goal in that match, while ex-Sheriff player Alexandr Pashchenko set the score before the end of the first half. In the second half of the game, Croatian player Brezovec scored twice, while Denis Ilescu scored the third goal of Dacia.

The other matches of the 11th stage ended as follows: Speranta - Spicul 2-0, Sfantul Gheorghe - Zimbru 0-0 and Dinamo-Auto - Petrocub 1-0.
