Deputy Speaker of Moldova’s Parliament Mihail Popșoi was unanimously elected as vice president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for 2022 today, in the winter session of the PACE that is held in a mixt format during January 24-28, IPN reports.
The title of vice president of PACE offers MP Mihail Popșoi, who is a member of the Delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova to the PACE, the right to form part of the PACE Bureau.
During the current session, PACE also elected Tiny Kox, a member of the Senate of the Netherlands, as PACE vice president for a year.
