Mihail Formuzal resorts to provocations in election campaign, Irina Vlah
The Governor of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal resorted for many times to provocations in the election campaign for the early legislative elections and in the campaign for the election of the Bashkan of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, a candidate of the Communists Party (PCRM) for the post of Bashkan, told a news conference on Tuesday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Mihail Formuzal has been always against the opinion of most of the Gagauz voters,” Irina Vlah said, adding that the Bashkan urges the people to vote for other election runners even though most of them are decided to vote for the PCRM.
The news conference was called in order to present the platform of the PCRM candidate for the post of Bashkan of Gagauzia. Irina Vlah stressed that her priorities include the economic development of the region, restructuring of the agrarian sector, attraction of foreign investment and creation of a favorable investment climate. She said that special attention will be paid to the youth policies and the modernization of the healthcare sector.
The Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia will elect its Governor on December 12. The current Bashkan Mihail Formuzal has governed the region since 2006.
