Mihail Formuzal: First 100 days of Gagauz Legislature were not in vain

The Gagauz Autonomy's Governor, Mihail Formuzal considers the regional People's Assembly is well balanced, having more than just one opinion, as well-considered decisions are adopted. Referring to the first 100 days of the new assembly, marked on November 20, bashkan Formuzal has said they did not pass in vain, Info-Prim Neo reports. He made the statements in Chisinau at a news conference on Wednesday. “The coalition that formed in the People's Assembly is a big success. Its last sessions showed that, despite hot debates, the MPs reach consensus on many issues,” the Governor said. “Some time needs to pass before overcoming “some sharper” moments.” The elections for a new Gagauz parliament were held last spring. Later the work of the legislature has got into an impasse, because of misunderstandings in electing a new speaker. Earlier in July, a court abolished the election of Mihail Cernev as the chairman. On July 4 , although the Communist MPs did not attend the session, Ana Harlamenko was elected as the Comrat Legislature's president.
