The first vice president of the Liberal Democratic Party Mihai Godea Tuesday asked the Chisinau District Electoral Council to give him the subscription list so that he collects signatures to be able to run as an independent candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I must present 10,000 signatures. I will collect 15,000 signatures as we have two days at the disposal and I do not want to go after subscription lists again,” said Mihai Godea. The first vice president of the PLDM also said that the Chisinau City Hall and the people need professional, decent and honorable approaches. May 5 is the deadline for submissions for being registered as candidates in the June 5 local elections.
