Mihai Godea: Government forces people to attend November 3 assembly

The Pro-European Coalition forces the people to go to the Great National Assembly Square on November 3, said unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea. He stated that he and his colleagues from the Democratic Action Party (PAD) do not support this event, IPN reports.

In a press briefing before the October 31 sitting of Parliament, Mihai Godea said he received information from districts that the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and the Liberal Reforming Party demand ensuring a certain quota of participants in the November 3 assembly.

The chairman of the PAD said the party that he heads is for Moldova’s European integration, but the government’s acts have nothing in common with the European values.

On November 3, the parties of the government coalition will stage a pro-Moldova demonstration in central Chisinau to inform the people about the country’s European course and to find out their viewpoints on this course.
