The medical devices in health facilities will be regularly examined, in accordance with the regulations approved by the executive, IPN reports.
Under the regulations, the accredited bodies will mandatorily check the medical devices once in two years and will issue an examination bulletin that will include the inspection results and the conclusion concerning the utilization of the medical devices.
There will be examined the anesthetic machines, artificial respiration devices, infant incubators, electrocardiographs, ultrasonographs, monitors for patients, infusion pumps and others.
The devices will be first checked when their guarantee expires or at the request of the user. The unfit medical devices will be repaired and will be then checked again.
