MDL 155 mln are to be received this year from selling and privatising public assets. Also, according to the provisions of the Budget Law for 2007, dividends related to the state’s participation share in joint stock companies, estimated at MDL 196.3 mln are to be transferred to the state budget, as well as transfers from the net profit of state enterprises – MDL 20 mln. These financial resources are to be obtained via the amendments to the Law on state enterprise and the new Law on the administration and denationalisation of public property. The bill on the administration and denationalisation of public property represents one of the main legislative initiatives of the Privatisation Agency in 2006. The Law has the aim of substituting the totality of the legislative and normative acts in the domain of privatisation and the diversification of the state’s instruments regarding the administration and denationalisation of public property. The draft law has been supported by international bodies and passed the first reading on December 28, 2006. About MDL 167.6 mln have been collected from privatisation of public property in 2006, the implementation of the Budget Law for 2006 being fulfilled at a 108.1% level. 350 state enterprise, 341 municipal enterprises and 395 JSCs are included in the Register of public property.
