Ionila Lozovan will not be dismissed from the post of mayor of Pitusca village of Calarasi district. Almost 60% of people who took part in the referendum voted against her dismissal, IPN reports.
The electoral rolls contained 2,718 voters. Of these, 1,119 took part in the referendum. 670 people voted against the dismissal of Ionila Lozovan.
The local referendum was held simultaneously with the presidential elections on October 30.
